Our Heritage
Founded in 1986 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, our story began with a sweatshirt that set the standard. Loose fitting, round neck, substantial in weight, it was built with intention and respect for craft. From that foundation of quality and durability emerged a lifestyle shaped by American sports culture.
A few years into our journey, Galtsand became printing and production partners for institutions including the NFL, the NCAA, wildlife organizations, and others, developing custom embroidery and wholesale programs shaped by a shared commitment to precision and consistency. Today, our design perspective is inspired by the Pacific Northwest, where movement, weather, and daily life exist in quiet balance. From that landscape, our original athletic classics evolve with outdoor versatility, producing garments that infuse our heritage with outdoor versatility.
