AMC US LLC, doing business as Galtsand (“Galtsand,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), is committed to conducting business responsibly and to respecting internationally recognised human rights throughout our operations and supply chain.

This statement describes our approach to modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, and related supply-chain risks and is provided voluntarily with reference to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 and Section 54 of the United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Our Business and Supply Chain

Founded in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1986, Galtsand is an American sportswear and apparel brand. Today, Galtsand products are sold through direct-to-consumer, retail, wholesale, and other commercial channels in the United States and international markets.

Like many apparel businesses, our supply chain involves third-party manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, logistics providers, and other business partners. Our products and their components may pass through multiple stages of sourcing, manufacturing, finishing, packaging, transportation, and distribution before reaching our customers.

We recognise that complex global supply chains can present risks relating to forced labour, human trafficking, child labour, unsafe working conditions, and other violations of fundamental labour rights.

Our Commitment

Galtsand does not knowingly tolerate slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, or unlawful child labour within our business or supply chain.

We expect suppliers and business partners involved in the manufacture and supply of Galtsand products to operate in compliance with applicable labour, employment, health and safety, and human rights laws in the jurisdictions in which they operate.

We seek to work with suppliers and partners that share our expectations regarding lawful and responsible business practices.

Supply Chain Verification and Due Diligence

Galtsand evaluates its supplier relationships and supply-chain practices in a manner proportionate to the nature, size, and circumstances of our business.

Our approach may include communicating our expectations to suppliers, reviewing supplier information and documentation, assessing manufacturing and sourcing relationships, and addressing concerns identified through our business operations.

We continue to evaluate opportunities to strengthen our supply-chain due diligence as our business and international operations develop.

Supplier Standards and Compliance

We expect suppliers producing or supplying products for Galtsand to comply with applicable laws and regulations governing their operations, including laws relating to forced labour, human trafficking, child labour, wages, working hours, workplace safety, discrimination, and freedom of employment.

Where appropriate, Galtsand may request information, documentation, certifications, representations, or other assurances concerning a supplier’s operations or compliance with applicable requirements.

Supplier Audits and Monitoring

Galtsand’s approach to supplier oversight may vary according to the supplier, manufacturing relationship, location, product, and level of identified risk.

We do not represent that every supplier or facility is subject to independent or unannounced third-party audits. We may use supplier documentation, certifications, assessments, inspections, third-party information, or other forms of review as appropriate to the circumstances.

Accountability

Galtsand takes allegations involving forced labour, human trafficking, or other serious violations of applicable labour standards seriously.

If we become aware of credible concerns involving a supplier or business partner, we may investigate the circumstances and determine appropriate action based upon the nature and severity of the issue. Such action may include requesting corrective measures, additional documentation or assurances, increased monitoring, suspension of orders, or termination of the business relationship.

Training and Continuous Improvement

As our business and supply chain develop, we intend to continue improving awareness and procedures relating to responsible sourcing and supply-chain risk.

We recognise that responsible supply-chain management is an ongoing process and will periodically review our practices in light of our operations, identified risks, applicable laws, and evolving industry standards.

California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act applies to certain retail sellers and manufacturers meeting statutory requirements, including an annual worldwide gross-receipts threshold.

To the extent Galtsand is not presently subject to the Act’s mandatory disclosure requirements, this statement is provided voluntarily as part of our commitment to transparency and responsible business practices.

This statement addresses the areas contemplated by the Act, including supply-chain verification, supplier audits, supplier compliance, internal accountability, and training.

United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act 2015

Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires certain commercial organisations carrying on business in the United Kingdom and meeting the applicable annual turnover threshold to publish an annual slavery and human trafficking statement.

To the extent Galtsand is not presently subject to the mandatory reporting requirement, this statement is provided voluntarily to communicate our approach to modern slavery and responsible supply-chain management.

Our Continuing Commitment

Galtsand believes that responsible sourcing requires continued attention, transparency, and improvement. As our business grows, we intend to continue reviewing our supply-chain practices and working with our suppliers and business partners to support lawful and responsible manufacturing.
